. That is completely personal preference after a chance to try many different combinations at a spinning workshop back in November 2014. Due to the need to oil many points on these wheels, I find disconnecting the flyer a wee bit messy. Holding onto the drive ring, you unscrew the flyer and remove the both the flyer and bobbin at the same time. The self powered level wind flyer is totally self contained and makes treadling a breeze, as there is no extra drag introduced into the mechanics of the wheel. Turn it on and it does the rest, you can spin for hours without stopping. And finish with a beautiful level wound bobbin when you're complete.

The Majacraft Suzie is the most versatile and well rounded wheel in the Majacraft Spinning Wheel product line. It is the wheel that Majacraft uses to design and optimize all the accessories, so it works with every optional tool available from Majacraft. It was the original Majacraft wheel and has been around for 30+ years. Next, you need to remove the conrods from the pedals. You do this by removing the screws inside the pedals that secure the green rubber joiners. Then you pull the rubber joiner from the hole in the pedal, and make sure you remember which conrod goes with which pedal. Remove the old drive band, and replace with the new drive band. The clamps allow you to secure the hackle to a sturdy surface and carry out colour blending in conjunction with a diz. The Majacraft logo has been laser engraved on the hackle base.
